"At Karma we are fully committed client advocates. Or we don't take the work. We believe in messaging that stands up to vigorous scrutiny and that's true whether the message is delivered through advertising, public relations or an executive blog."

Bruce's career began in print journalism and progressed through traditional public relations, investor relations and crisis management. Today, nurturing an appetite for new media applications even as he cherishes the value of traditional media, Bruce offers clients communications insight into what has changed and what will, most likely, remain the same.

"Some things won't change. Whether your message is set in hot lead or zapped out to a digital citizenry, a story that has factual integrity, compelling interest and a big idea will remain central to effective communications," he said. "We tell those stories."

Bruce has worked extensively with Fortune 100 and 500 companies, managing financial communications for public companies, media training executives, writing speeches and public policy documents and serving as a spokesperson in crisis situations. Bruce has three decades of broad based experience counseling companies in the chemical, financial services, healthcare and transportation industries.

In his community, Bruce serves on the marketing board for the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and the Board of Directors of the Nephcure Foundation. He attended the Temple University School of Journalism on a vocational rehabilitation scholarship after being wounded in Vietnam and was later an award-winning writer for the late and lamented Philadelphia Bulletin. He is married and the father of one son.
